through the eyes of a canon

we each see our world a little differently. i'll try to show how my world looks through the eyes of a canon.

gala, the apple of my eye

in an attempt to better myself this year, i not only want to take a picutre a day, but also eat better. i was looking at the giant bowl of fruit on the kitchen's center island and saw this one lone gala apple...i picked it up, looked at it, and ran down to the studio and shot it! i think it turned out pretty well. i didn't do much post processing, just played with the levels a little bit, burned the stem a tad to help it stand out, and added the border. whatcha think?!

I think it makes me hungry. :) I'm a novice, but i think it looks pretty good. Galas tend to have more of a yellowish/peachy tint to them, don't they?

Generally it looks good, but it seems to me like its somewhat over-exposed. I could be wrong though... I usually am. If not, there's something about the brightness around the edge of the apple and the background that bugs me.

It makes my mouth water. I like the softness.
